infinity perk create town resources

what is this one meant to do? I've used it twice now and nothing happened.

By the time you get it, the amount it makes is typically a lot less than you normally get.

That perk really should be changed to give you the equivalent of some hours of offline mode or multiply your current crates by a certain factor. That would make it much more useful.

As stones can be spammed in endgame, if the perk gives more than 1 minute of offline time it would be very broken. Same with it multiplying by a factor.

This here -- with instant recharge infinity stones and a decent auto-clicker, you could completely destroy any reason to run tower testing if you got a "reasonable" scaling amount of resources from the perk.

Either the perk is useless compared to normal resource production or it makes normal resource production useless. As is, not switching the game to "sit on 1 screen forever running an auto-clicker to advance" mode = good choice IMO.

So, what is the purpose of the perk at all? Would removing it affect the game in a negative way?
