Stuck trying to get past desert, Pls help

I cant get past desert the wizards keep nuking my runs every single time i do well i have insane health and damage output but the wizards slow my attack and then i get over whelmed when this happens in later parts of the waves they stack up and eat through my health pool

Did you upgrade your modules to the max in the workshop?
If you did, grind the forest levels until you earn more modules (endless mode is good for that) for you to add

Make sure you are using basic bouncing and Multishot to best deal with the wizards

i did both of what you guys said to do but i dont even remaber what i did that actuly allowed me to get passed it was somthing that seemed extreamly obvious but wasnt to me for some reasion but cant remaber

multishot, speed shot, bounce, max dmg...... gonna have to keep redoing until you get enough money to max those out....then it will be ez.......die....repeat....die...spend money max...win

In the early game I find it literally impossible to play a defensive role, and instead rely on Glass Cannon 1HP strats. And yes, particularly because of Slow Wizard. Just get the modules listed above to max and you'll be fine.

As i said i found the problem jt was related to the fact i was using granit, it has a lot of health but the downside of slowing fire rate down so i am just slightly to slow to keep up with the ammount of things coming at me
