Idling calculation not working?

I am on Tier 7.
Previous Tiers, when I did endless mode I would get statistics and it would be added to the idling statistics which allows me to idle and gain resources when I need to. Now, that I have newer installed software from headquarters, the wave jumps seem to prevent me getting statics. I am literally getting 1000 times more resources doing endless impossible on 1 sec repeat than I would if I set it to idle because I can't get an effective idle statistic with the all the wave acceleration and wave jump software installed.

I have active:
Autoskip
Wave streaming
Wave surge
Critical Wavejump
Wave momentum
Wave storm
wave persistence
wave instability
wave vortex
wave catalyst
wave endurance

So, after a series of testing I found out the real reason. It doesn't matter about the number of waves the counter displayed. In order for statistics to work, you need to experience the waves for a certain number of times (100 waves? not sure exactly, I know 100 worked. I know 50 waves will not record the statistics down.)
If you die before that happens, it will not count statistics. Waves on the counter at the top do not count towards the number of waves the tower "experienced". The tower has to manually go through the wave at least 100 times, not including any skipped waves.
Basically you are only getting statistics for idling after you survive 100 wave skips. :/

Is this a bug?
