Finding new modules:
Have you used labratory? Some are really easy to get. There are guides above for the lab.
have you tried later maps? - even losing provides modules. E.g. just keep opening the other maps.
Have you tried challenges? There is a guide on how to do most above as well.
I think the bosses might provide some too.
I suggest NOT doing endless unless you are also farming that level for cubes, if you're only aiming for the modules in particular, I'd stick to 100 waves only, as it will be faster, doing endless really doesn't help your chances and makes it last a long time assuming you don't die early on also, I've tried endless countless times, it just seemed like a waste of time when I just wanted to see what modules I didn't have
When exiting the round (either by quitting manually, fulfilling the victory condition or dying) it checks each chance individually multiplied by any bonuses from town (like the workshop skill), a specific factor based on the difficulty and multiplied by a factor based on your wave progress.
The current difficulty factor for each difficulty is:
Easy x1
Medium x1.5
Hard x1.5
Insane x2
Nightmare x2.25
Impossible x2.5
and the formula for the wave bonus is -> Log10(currentWave / 10)
For this example let's use Fire Attack which has a drop chance of 5%.
If you are in Forest with the workshop skill on medium difficulty at wave 167 you would have a 5% * 2 * 1.5 * Log10(currentWave / 10) = ~18.3% chance to unlock Fire Attack.
Same scenario at wave 98750 would yield a ~59.9% chance.
Since this can trigger for each module individually you could potentially unlock all modules in a single long run.
