Virtualization software: VMware Player 15.5.2
For everyone experiencing mouse issues, we are looking into it and will update you guys asap. We have seen that in a couple of instances updating your graphics drivers fixes this, please do try this and let us know if it works!

We have pushed out an update with a possible fix for the mouse input issue. Updating graphics drivers has fixed the issue for a couple of people so please do try that step out as well.

my data was saved, but I do remember using my mouse to play the game, but for me, updating my drivers did NOT fix the issue for me, I can play it with a controller fine
I tried the steps, restarting Steam, Updating Drivers, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, Validating Files & even reset my progress, none of which allow me to use my mouse or keyboard at all, the game only works whenever I plug in my controller and use that instead
