Backfiring how?
I already beaten the final boss with it. Throughout the journey I managed to craft 5 share exp core tier 3. I used it to raise another monster (get 100% exp without fighting). My main mons was the evolution of Dinja and Gekoko. I wanted to raise Mara and some others but it was so slow and tedious, even with 100% share or exp bonus on them. I'd be sure to maximize that exp gain from custom mode if I play again.
Idk how anyone suppose to raise full team in comparison to focused exp. Seems very problematic. If you keep the team equal level with the world, you take too much damage to make use of elemental advantage, coz when u switch enemy get free hit on u (esp annoying in duels). if u let monster die before switching, it doesnt get exp. If you keep monsters a few levels above the world, it means more grinding. If you want to put 4x synergy cores tier 3 on everyone, that's takes A LOT of mining. So bothersome. Pain everywhere.
Whereas in focused exp, you just play n beat monster/duelers on the way and your main fighter will have enough strength to face the world (with help of items). Feels effortless, natural, flowing, convenient. You dont stop to do dedicated grinding to keep up.
Acegon got to level 99 very easily before end game and I evolved every mon I had access to thanks to him.
