is this for both of them or only xp core? because i read another thread where someone there said to stack greed cores on the entire party
But, when it comes to Experience and the new synergy cores:
Experience cores ONLY affect that particular mon.
However, if you put synergy cores on the rest of the team, then the main mon's boosted XP is used for all the mons. (subject to the percentage of course, but as 4x rank three synergy cores gives 100% XP, you can achieve only needing to train one mon to level up your whole team equally)
Note that stacking 4x XP cores on all your mons is much cheaper in terms of the number of shards than stacking 4x XP cores on the main mon and 4x synergy on the others; several hundred shards cheaper for rank III cores.
Mons with exp cores do.
Mons with synergy cores do not.
Here's some info i tested persoanlly:
Greed cores vs the same trainer (save and reload testing):

Exp and synergy optimal setups:

p.s: this kind of info is considered common knowledge in the discord, you really should join it :D
thank you and yes i've joined the discord now
if you kill 10 lv 50 horgets, your gold each battle could vary by up to like 40-50% (this i tested on trainers by save and reloading so the test was always teh exact same)
exp never changed though and i also tested exp with different types of mons as long as theyre the same bracket.
for example, all t1 1st form lv 67 mons gave teh same exp, didnt matter what mon it was, but a t2 mon or a 2nd form mon at 67 gave more.
Either its an exploit and should be fixed with a patch, or it is intended and should be explained in the core description!
