Legendary/ Extinct Nexomon?

Thanks to a helpful guide it pointed out the area certain legendary nexomon should spawn in but after 3 hours of random battles what does it take to find them? I already have the lure but do I need to beat the story first?

extinct are not legendary.
extinct are quite rare yes, but the only legendaries you can get are post story and most are static encounters you summon.

extinct are just mega rares from nexomon one where they got their fourth evolution or something along those lines. there's only 9 of them one for each element.

You can get a lot of those extinct on the Island :) others can spawn in certain areas. Theyre pretty hard to find though.

I caught Eurus while grinding. The legendary tyrants appear in the regions of their elements and to catch them, luck must be in your side. When one appear, feel satisfaction mate.

it was 1/100 chances of finding one (if in the right area) now its 1/30 chance.

darine took like 4-5 hours before they up encounter rate while i was trying to catch tikala but no luck on that lol.

petram i got kind of lucky it took about an hour.

Do the tyrants spawn in any grass patch in their area? or on specific ones?

The renegade tyrants spawn in their respective domains. The netherworld's tyrants can spawn anywhere. In Palmaya and Immortal Citadel are two more.

I legit spent two hour's in the immortal citadel above the medic tent and got nothing can someone tell me the locations if I am even there. Cause I haven't gotten a single one of them. or at least a location of where they are would be helpful so I am not running in the wrong spot. Also I kinda hate how running is just random in this game like I feel like my level 20 should be able to run from level 9 / 10's so I don't have to constantly go get healed.

I got a ghost one above and right patch of the medic tent soon after arriving. I wasn't trying, had no idea it was extinct until I looked it up. It really is just RNG, they wouldn't be special if they were more common. There is a google document on the nexomon reddit that tells where to find a bunch of the nexomon.

There's an item that allows you to run from fights 100% of the time.
