UNNECCESARY GRIND-- BROKE GAME "ELITE FOUR"---- NO SPOLIERS
I hope this hasn't all been said. Since launch I've sporadically tuned in to various online discussions of the new Nexomon 2: Extinction game on a few websites and am seeing lots of EXP Share talk and level scaling. YES to both changes... but...

I've mostly been taking my sweet time but still putting in 8 hours a day at least, and I have reached an obstacle that has sucked the fun out of the entire game and I QUIT until updates.

SPOILER ALERT? ...
I'll be vague about 'Elite Fourish", but first the other 'broke' aspect that has teetered me on the edge of quitting.

1. Any nexomon who becomes "Bound" or in the case of some plant nexomon rooted into the ground for health, this often causes nexomon to be unswitchable even post-mortem. Quitting to last save is the only current remedy.
On occasion I can flee, but a trainer battle 'Bound' glitch requires quit to save.

2. As for the "Elite Four" .....(I'm not giving away anything by saying that, who doesn't expect something of the sort from a game like this)

Let's just say that 3 trainers each have 4 very strong (same type) nexomon, and the 4th after those three has 6 strong nexomon.

UNLIKE the other monster catcher games with series of final elite sequential battles,
YOU CANT RETURN TO HEAL CENTER IN BETWEEN DEFEATING 4 TRAINERS THAT HAVE A COMBINED 18 ELITE NEXOMON THAT ARE SCALED TO EVERY NEXOMON YOU HAVE IN PARTY

I abandoned all my raised nexos to go to Palmaya and stock up on high level nexos (around level 60) to be ready for the "elite four". OOPS LEVEL SCALING and To my horror upon returning to them all their nexos were same or above my level.

SO BASICALLY YOU CANT WIN UNLESS YOU HAVE A PANTSLOAD OF REVIVES AND POTIONS

I sold all my shards to buy revives and got to near the end of the 18 SCALED NEXOS YOU HVE TO BEAT CONSECUTIVELY, and of course I was "bound" and lost it all. YAAAAY.
Its not even worth the grind of beating trainers for the $$$ to buy x10 of elixir and revives and whoop-de-doos so I can move on to the next scaled abomination. Hopefully this is the worst, I won't know for a while

i'm just gonna reply to myself cuz I'm still dissatisfied.

The developers of this game have capitalized dramatically on the massive let-down that came from Sword/Shield.

Perhaps the youth of today is interested in a newer kind of gameplay, but for people who grew up with Pokemon R/B/Y and its different challenges, Nexomon is a very refreshing breath and that is why I take this time to say what almost doesn't mean anything anymore... "I don't normally post about anything ever blah blah but I just haaaad to say something because this game blows my pants off my body".. like every app store review nowadays.

So thank you nexomon, we had a good run and for a few days, for the first time in over a decade I felt like a monster catching kid of olde. To be fair the first ten minutes of Shield rocked me solid too.

But you DEVELOPERS dropped the ball. If you have to rush to market with game-breaking flaws the money has made you talk. Nobody expects perfection, but in trying to be wonderfully different from your competitors you've also folded your cards to hurrying games for profit. Or is that perhaps the new modus-operandi for gaming and I should return in decade or two.

PEOPLE WHO CREATED THIS GAME KNEW THIS GAME WASNT READY.
However 'ready' nowadays means "acceptable to the public". Let the general folk weed out the mistakes of early development. Why even hire or ask for volunteer game-testers anymore?

Because you can just send out something half-done with a brand on it and then dangle carrots of improvement over everyone until some other game from the app corp makes broccoli. I'll bet an expansion to this game is polished to incentivize new buyers. How are the pre-registerers and early buyers validated? What you've created is so artistic and fantastic its devastating to your public image and professional accountability to give the people something clearly unpolished.

ive got my fun out of it, have you even played the game to make this kind of "review"

The "Elite Four" is hard, didn't expect the "four" one. In that moment I was scared because half of my team was fainted and I never lost to anyone... but I "awakened", used recover for the first time and spam potions until the b***h lady exhausted her nexomons. I revived my team, healed my bois and asserted my dominance over her.

Young padawan... you must grind and use a nexomon that has recover. Be the Ulzar be with you.

Did you even read the post? You know this game is out on multiple platforms right?
This thing is out on the switch, ps4, pc, and xbox later.

If he played on Switch or PS4, I think the balance updates were added already.

Use buffs and sweep? Use a bit of strategy and type match-ups? Use items and cores? Use status effects? Your post sounds like "we have tried nothing and we are out of options!". Seriously your solution was to get bigger numbers to win?

Lets just take your argument in good faith and say this was a really tough battle far and beyond everything leading up to it, maybe look for a strategy to win? Does a single boss really invalidate the entire game and all the hard work of the devs? Even though they are patching the game so soon after release after getting feedback (which they don't have remember, they are only so many people)

Honestly this seems like you fundamentally just don't understand the game, there are multiple options but you decide to use the most braindead one and then just complain...

Thanks for the support and advice everyone. If anything, I needed assurance that I was not alone in my qualms; the peace of mind that other people have endured and THERE IS A WAY. Praise be to Ulzar I will endeavor to grind it out
Also yeah any Nexo with heal is critical to surviving the scaling competition, and even moreso perhaps using "DRAIN" to rapidly get an opponent's nexomon to 0 stamina basically yields you having 2 moves to their 1 because they have to spend every other turn "Tired" (and you won't have to use as many eliers/stamina potions!)

The electric starter nexomon learns both these moves

DOGFROG- Getting bigger numbers was to test scalability, ok fine and yes be lazy, kind of a folly prayer that I could somehow beat the system. I've irked by, actually going on decades of learning from how to exploit and overcome these kinds of games, however developed they have been or not, so pardon my human nature for looking for a easier path. I hope you find it without having to try to hard

For Ulzar's glory, you have learn the lesson. The endgame awaits you!

you weren't able to return to heal in pokemon elite 4 either, or at least you couldn't on the ones I played before dropping it, NPC even told you to get lots of revive and potions before going in
