Question about spawns

I started the other day and watching the gaming scaling with me makes me wonder if for example you can at the start catch a Gekoko under the Camp west of Orphanage, but in late game will there be a Gekoko or the evolution of Gekoko? I guess the Nexomon will stay the same but just more levels? because if not, some monster might be missable so yeah.

Both. You get the same nexomon at higher levels plus you get the evolved forms.
