No dice.
Different item mechanics.
Different mini game designs.
Not ripping anyone off. Games evolve like that. Just like how Pummel Party could be seen as a "rip-off" of mario party. It's not really, it's like Mario Party, but changed up a bit.
Party Arena was imaged as "what if you took the party genre, and made it less luck, and more skill based."
From the trailer some of the minigames do look similar if not the same and even some of the items but thats about it from what I saw. It seems to be a mix of Super Mario Party styled board layouts with Pummel Party item mechanics. The idea of only skill does make it standout a bit though.
