Damn, this hobby is expensive xD
It is a shame you can't run FGU on Android or IoS so you can read it on your phone when you're away from the computer.

PS: Being a traveller player, you may be interested to Know that the Fantasy Grounds Academy run regular symposiums for Traveller and MadBeareded man who I'm pretty sure works for mongoose publishing is quite active in the Fantasy Ground Academy forum.
They don't and I've discussed this very issue with one of the Mongoose Publishing staff. I had to buy the core rulebook 3 times (printed hardcover, PDF & DLC) and it cost me over $150 in my country's currency. Currently, to the best of my knowledge the only company that gives a free PDF for purchased DLC is Paizo publishiing. They can, because they allow you to sync your fantasygrounds.com account your paizo.com account - similar to how you can link a Steam account to fantasygrounds.
The staff member at Mongoose said they're willing and would like to support giving the PDF for free, as that's what they already do when you buy a print product from their webstore. They're just not sure how to do it, so I suggested they contact Paizo.
[Edit] As to copying & pasting from PDFs, I'm a big fan or it and do it often. It's easy for things like Creatures. NPCs or items - I can create one for just about any of the rulesest I own in less than 1 minute. How easy it is for main body content, depends upon how much formatting you want. FGU supports Headings, bulleted text, tables and font formatting, but none of that will come over in your paste. So if you want things to look nice & tidy in FGU, it'll be extra effort. You might also get a few odd text symbols here and there, depending on how text was formatted in the PDF.
