Good to hear. How far are you in the game?
Definitely not the easiest games ever, far from it, but equally far from being a difficult one too. If you survive the first hour of gameplay, I'd say it's an average game regarding it's difficulty, a bit on the easier side even. The more it goes, the stronger your character is, the more accustomed you're to the game design and patterns, the easier everything becomes.
It is one of these games that reaches peak difficulty from the get go, then goes softer and softer.
I think the only reason this game is so freaking hard is that the guns all suck. If there was even one decent weapon this game would be a lot more fun.
what if you don't have a freeze gun? The fire gun doesn't charge fast enough to get a shot off.
Yeah but that would make you too OPed too quickly.
I agree with you. Why throw money away on something you're not going to enjoy? I mean, isn't that just common sense? lol
I bought this game when it was on sale over a year ago, and never downloaded it until yesterday. So i can't refund it or I would.
Not at all. I'm not suggesting adding over powered weapons. I'm suggesting fixing their broken mechanics. I'm sorry but this games mechanics are utterly broken. Seems like all they cared about was recycling mass effect 4 left overs, and didn't put any effort into making sure the fundamental mechanics work. It's like back in the 80s there was this game called Ninja Geiden. There's a part where you have to jump from one platform to another, but the developers didn't get the numbers right, as the result, you can only jump so far and the platform is just further than that. It completely breaks the game. Something very similar has happened with scars above. Some of the basic mechanics of the game are broken in the same way.
I myself liked the game, but I had a friend who gave me a steam card, so while I did buy it when it came out, I only had to pay half the money.
Look, I've tried to explain the bosses over and over again in many of these threads. There's just too many who feel the game would be unbeatable because of the Alpha. In reality that's the hardest boss, and I felt was the game's way to fool you into make it seem like it's harder than it actually is.
I like the game it's just broken. I KNOW how to do it. Everybody does. That's not the issue people are having. If you would pay attention to what people are saying, you might begin to see what the actual problem is. The time the fire gun takes to charge, isn't set right. It's a mistake and a flaw in the game. It's broken. That's why the jump in ninja gieden was impossible, and it's why the rock monster is impossible. The developers make a mistake. It happens.
They want to "fool" people into thinking it's hard is an utterly silly statement to make. I literally busted up laughing.
