How can I Save?

its all autosaves, it saves every so often and when you get in range of a pillar

The sad part is. The game doesnt save anything after encountering the first crew member. If You restart the game at a later date, all your progress is wiped and you start from the last piller before the first crew member

Thats unfortunate. I dont have hours to play at once. i always like the ability to save

i saw one review saying he lost 3hrs of progress; maybe he didnt save at pillars i dont know but

How often are you running into Pillars?

Its as common & convenient as those in dark souls 3

That was me. It saved at any pillar but idk why it did not save after the first chapter.

There was no indication and everything should have worked.

Gonna test it today at the same place again and see if it resets again.

For your information: it was at the boss fight with the big ice surface in the middle

The problem with the saves can be fixed fairly easily. The developers changed the save folder on the pc from one patch to another...

Here is the fix, if you need it:
The Old save (pre-patch):
<Steam-folder>\SteamApps\common\Scars Above\ScarsAbove\Saved\SaveGames

The new one (post-patch):
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ScarsAbove\Saved\SaveGames

You can copy "Default.sav" from the old folder to the new (if you've played the demo you probably already have a save there, you can use the demo's save or the new save)

after beat the game it wipe the entire save data. there are no continue in main menu. Just new game credit option.

I got hit with a bug hard-locking my game right at the start of chapter 6, cheers. This was literally the only way I could finish the game without restarting.

Hey guys i have a issue im Stuck inside the Ship cant get out! When i Choice Last Spawn lokation im respawning inside again!! Dose some one of you know how to load an older Save ? Is it possible to erease the Bad Save Insider Game Folder?? I put 10h in the Game dont want to do all again, please help if you can ! Ty 😁

It also saves after you reach the ship and there is no pillar.
