A part of me hopes it is. Andromeda was a gold mine of meme material. On the other hand, I'm dying for some good sci-fi.

I see I'm not the only who thought that from the trailer. I enjoyed the gameplay in the demo, so that's what I'm here for, even if the cutscenes are a bit sub par.

If only the the animations with the single issue with Andromeda.

The difference is, Andromeda was developed and published by massive studio and one of the biggest corporations (Bioware + EA), while this is more of a budget, breakthrough project for a studio that simply doesn't have that kind of funding and unlimited resources to back it up.

While the animations might be jarring sometimes, it didn't have any other issues like Andromeda had on launch during my playthrough (on PS5).
