The big difference in our game is really the movement system. You can phase between first and third person avatars. The difference here though is the third person character is *FULLY* controlled by the movement of your head and arms and fingers. This allows you do potentially do some interesting things such as grabbing and equipping items in third person, moving items and crafting between tables, platforming in VR. This is hard to fully describe until you experience it.

The game has a full RPG leveling progression system, the smithing just simply supports your armory to allow you to progress. The game is more about building the strength and power of your character as you build towards the final challenge.

Thanks for the comments Jedi. We have tentative plans for bringing the game to the Oculus store and then eventually Quest (and eventually PSVR). The timeline here is uncertain, more details will be hashed out soon, but we look forward to accomplishing this.

how deep is it. like is the armor you wear armor you must craft? like guantlets

Crafting is fairly complex. You can craft all weapons and various strengths of each blade. You can craft arrows, bows, lathe components. The jewellery system is forthcoming. Gem socketting system is forth coming. Armor is one thing we currently dont have plans to craft because there is a massive amount of armor pieces and would require an insurmountable amount of work to develop.

Perhaps this would be an expansion or sequal? ;)

Yeah, its a great idea. We are trying to be very aware of feature creep in the current project.

well honestly its best to not reach outside your bounds if armor seems too much.
so is the gameplay pure VR, like you actually grab things and everythings done by hand. no clicking stuff.
also its funny it looks like the game is better than most smithing ish games, but the locomotion was actually the worst part. in VR if it aint broke dont fix it. best to give VR players many movement options, snap turn and smooth turn, blinders on or off, ect. we all play VR a little different and those options can make games great or crash em. but it seems its been added so its not of consequence now.
but ya so is all the gameplay legit? i mean its kind of expensive for a vr game and early access tends to be 90 percent give up on part way through(or some like h3vr just continue development forever becuase they are succesful lol.)
i think a gameplay trailor would help alot**

Yeah, all the locomotion is in now and options except blinders - that should be in a few days.

To answer your question about gameplay, yes, its all interactive, there is no clicking on objects to build. You need to actually heatup - grab with tongs - hammer out items etc.

The trailer on the mainpage (and youtube) IS GAMEPLAY - 100% realtime gameplay, there is no cut scenes in the game currently nor any pre-rendered footage in the trailer.
