Phoenix pod's activation key shows "empty"

My friend changed his keys settings, he made sure all of them are mapped to something, and yet he can't use the phoenix pod.
The prompt says "empty"

There seem to be a bunch of things that don't have a key mapping setting.
He doesn't have any key for "respawn" as well.
Every single time he dies during a raid, he has to press ESC and respawn on the bottom left.

try switching the game to english saw other people reporting issues with french language setting.
