Doesn't work for me: Last update can't be uninstalled on my end. Anyway thanks for posting.
Maybe in a way disabling the "new" Security Feature is better than uninstalling the latest security update, but honestly I recommend doing neither and wait for a patch. Anyway If you still want to play regardless, here is how you can do it:
Open the Start menu and enter “Core isolation” in the search bar to open the related Windows Defender settings. In the “Windows Security” window switch the option called “Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection” to “Off”, then reboot your system
I tried it myself and after the changes I can start and play the game without issue. It's a temporary workaround I really don't like (I reversed it after testing); Maybe I am a little paranoid
Won't be turning my security off if possible. Will wait for sometime. :(
