Easy Anti Cheat Issue: 30005 StartService EasyAntiCheat EOSSys failed with 1275

Hello fellow Custodians,

since the latest Windows Updates (Windows 11) something broke Easy Anti Cheat. I cannot run the game anymore. As soon as I launch the game Easy Anti Cheat popsup with the following error:

30005 StartService EasyAntiCheat EOSSys failed with 1275

There seems to be an incompatibility between EAC and Windows Security Feature "KERNAL-MODE HARDWARE-ENFORCED STACK PROTECTION".
Disabling the feature seems to fix it, but its nothing to recommend and I do not plan to do so myself.
Other EAC games like Fortnite work without issue so there is hope, that an update will fix the EAC version of MYM eventually.

Really not a fan of these Kernel-Level Anti Cheat Software...

Anyone found an alternative fix for this issue for the time being?

-Verifying files
-delete an reinstall EAC_EOS

this issue start with batlleye anticheat month ago and its still have no solution.. but yet other anticheat in not compatible

Uninstalled latest w11 update and everything working fine now.

Windows Update Settings > Update History > Uninstall Updates > Uninstall latest update and restart PC

There is a workaround without uninstalling the latest Windows Update. You can disable Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. It's a "new" security feature and a lot of anti cheat software has issues since the introduction...

Maybe in a way disabling the "new" Security Feature is better than uninstalling the latest security update, but honestly I recommend doing neither and wait for a patch. Anyway If you still want to play regardless, here is how you can do it:

Open the Start menu and enter “Core isolation” in the search bar to open the related Windows Defender settings. In the “Windows Security” window switch the option called “Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection” to “Off”, then reboot your system

I tried it myself and after the changes I can start and play the game without issue. It's a temporary workaround I really don't like (I reversed it after testing); Maybe I am a little paranoid

Yea. Happening to me now. Was working 3 days ago no problem. Did college finals for the past 2 days. Wanting to get on and do nothing right now. Just to be hit by this.

Won't be turning my security off if possible. Will wait for sometime. :(

Tried playing some Brief Karate Foolish after work while the wife was out. Had the same thing happen

Same problem with Elden ring, cant play elden ring anymore. Hope they fix it soon!

Yep, just tried to play Elden Ring for the first time and I can't... great! Hope there's a legit fix soon.

My pc automatically installed the update again after I removed it and no longer shows up in the uninstall list. Ive been trying to find a workaround to uninstall it with no luck. I am about to format my pc just so I can play my games.
