That's usually enough, for the ones I've encountered.
It's a cheesy strat to drop bodies like that, to be sure. But for variety it's okay, I guess - as long as it doesn't become a meta.
Shield and deployable shield gadget counters it (flash barrier needs to be placed on the genmat itself). Depending on the setup, may even be possible to outrun.
If you are speaking about DM switch when used outside of genmat 2nd wave activation time, well.. you were outwitted.
Only costs a few blue resources, but you can safely grab the genmat and then place it down if you feel like it will be a situation where the creator just spammed traps killbox style with cheesy exploits.
i have used the drop shield but the dead guards falling thru and kill you, even when i was standing at the genmat point
