I like the outpost building side of things but when it takes 800 resources to activate and a full cycle gave me 50 resources I just stopped messing with it.
These cannot be fixed with a single patch, and knowing BHVR's patch style from years of Dead by Daylight, they can't be fixed in multiple patches either. There are core problems that were not addressed prior to launch and now we see the results.
I agree, no doomposting, this game is Dead.
The discussion section needs the dissenting voices to try and argue to Steam that this game should be forcefully refunded to those who want it.
Agree. It's insane this game still has a 75%ish positive review score. But we all know BHVR has quite the legion of fanboys and girls. They love to review bomb any new asym that gets released. I guess they equally enjoy inflating scores for whatever piece of ♥♥♥♥ BHVR craps out next.
Definitely.
Fanboyism is a mental illness. Why would anyone want to simp for a company whose main goal is just to make money? If the product is good, praise the product and the efforts to make a good product. Don't blindly worship companies.
It's not our fault you don't know how to use a refund button. Don't bring that drama in here.
Aside from Steam's refund policy violating EU law (of which I am a citizen), they still don't refund despite that if more than 2 hours have been played.
And 2 hours is hardly enough time to get any decent a feel for a multiplayer game. If you think it does, congrats, you're wrong *and* stupid.
The whole grift companies like BHVR run, is trying to catch you long enough so that they can keep your money. Steam's ranks of products have built up an entire industry around that sort of time trap.
Twitch viewership is a pretty good sign of a game's health and 30 viewers from a highprofile studio is not good in the slightest.
You can't view MYM's playercount on steam meaning it's below 300 players at least right now.
Multiple reports of people saying putting out bases is not worth the effort anymore meaning there's either too many bases or not enough raiders, either way, a sign of low playerbase. Multiple reports of people saying the seasonal rewards aren't worth the effort. Multiple reports of people saying issues that existed in the beta still exist in the main game.
All of this a single month after release, yeah you can still play the game, but I think you're lying to yourself if you think this game isn't dead.
Chances are yall got maybe 1 more patch before BHVR packs it up and calls it a day. The same happened with Bloodgarden and it looks like the same is gonna happen here. Dead by Daylight truly is lightning in a bottle as this studio has failed twice now at creating a game that lasts for any substantial amount of time.
