Report a translation problem
Ran into some levels that have whole hallways of it and frankly grappling with stock weapons was enough for all of them so far. You can smell them a mile away because of all the "bedrock".
It is not an exploit. If you select 2nd wave in the upgrade menu, you will notice the cube has holes for projectiles to pass through.

It is more likely that splatter is supposed to allow the same functionality as 2nd wave augment as it also has the same holes in cubes but it's bugged and dosen't allow traps to track through.
Get your facts right.
Not yet, but logic would dictate that if it behaves one way in first wave and another in second wave, that's a bug. Either they should fire through first wave or shouldnt fire through second.
