True, the bases i built during the beta exploded on release, but the new ones get one raid per activation at best.

:')
You need prestige and kills to get attacked enmasse.
This is my low effort, copy paste, unoriginal, uninteractive, unfun killbox that i stole from another user 1;1 and it's getting 60+ kills per run on only prestige 4.
If your base doesn't get kills you aren't gunna get jack in future prestiges in my personal experience anyways. I have one base with 100+ Accolades and it hasn't gotten more than 10 raids in last 2 prestiges it is now prestige 9.
Sigh, guess I'll hold off on building or making outposts active for a while at least as I have no interest in making kill boxes
Yeah, both my outposts are on brutal. My first post got some decent traffic and kills on the first couple days but hasn't since then. I've re-set it 3 times now with maybe 1 or 2 kills if that
I made lotta creative ones and a nice maze with minimal traps so it rewarded people using their brains.
Unfortunately, people just hug HRV and don't explore at all & If they don't die you don't get more play throughs. You are punished for having fun atm.
Lol I find complete opposite.... odd
So kill Harvy early then, easy
The best advice I can give is, if you can, try to make sure your map is active as close to peak hours as possible to get maximum exposure. Cursory research shows that most players are on around 4 PM EST/1 PM PST; if you can, try to line up your activation times to be as close to that rush as possible and you should get at least a handful of visitors.
Also, burial sites with larger GenMat pools remain active for longer, which means more potential views; you may need to put more resources down to invest in them, but more passive income from extraction plus more chances to be visible in the random pool raises the likelihood that you'll get visitors.
And if you run into a situation where you can't afford something, you may have to just strap on your boots and get raiding yourself. Meet Your Maker's gameplay loop is designed under the assumption that players will be both attacking and defending, so you won't always get what you need just by waiting for people to bring it to you. Plus, the more you raid, the more other people's maps get played, which can in turn encourage them to play more - and the more people play, the better chance you have of being raided. It's a win-win!
they want to challenge but not impossible to do
because people won't come back to your base again.
Guess you're getting enough idiots who don't abandon after 1-2 deaths.
Lucky you?
Really?
I've never noticed that in my replays and I personally ignore Harvey for most of my time.
I'm having it where players aren't exploring my maps either, making separate corridors and trails to treasures caches and they either go straight past it (also marking the sh*t out of them with decals) or they look through for half a second and carry on the main path
15 maps? No theres only 5. If you're making Normal and Dangerous maps you are wasting your time why would anyone play those?
