blocking it and calling it a day is a ♥♥♥♥ move, but you might get some extra gen mat for killing raiders; and them getting the tombs is no skin off your back since it costs your nothing.
You don't lose anything if someone destroys your Tomb either. (Same with Genmat, unless in Overdrive mode).
Accolaids are worth quite a bit more than kills, especially if a raider gives you two of them.
Use them to your advantage. Don't make them free and create a branching path to your build. It's fun, probably will get the raider killed, and they'll be more likely to give you accolaids for a fun, interesting, rewarding build. Win-win for everyone.
is this true or no? I found as soon as i went over 3000 build it always went to brutal.
The glowing / trapped *skeletons* around your outpost maps , they also make a sound the closer you get so you can find them by hearing.
You get free resources when you destroy them while raiding + the builder aint losing anything.
If they didnt change it then yes , used to be like that in the beta. Usually the amount of traps did matter the most on / near Harveys route / path.
Thats the thing you dont need to , you can leave them open all across the map / ignore them as a builder and its still a win-win for everybody (atleast the raiders that go looking for them)
Otherwise its just 2. objectives you can trap / build rooms around for some possible easy kills.
Getting blocked means your outposts wont show up for them. potentially leading to less raids for you overall
Your missing the chance to make unrestricted traps. My tomb traps are really good
