How to support RotoVR? Does the game need any modification to support it?

You need the Dev-Kit from RotoVR.

Believe me - it's unbelievable! It's like a dream! We have "VOX MACHINAE" with nafive Rotosupport too!

It says that Roto works with - and enhances ALL games and experiences.
I don't see that game developers need to do anything to support it.

Why do I need that?
A Dev-Kit is exactly the same as final consumer Roto, except for not having formal regulatory compliance (i.e. FCC/CE certifications etc).

There are various ways in which the Roto-VR can be used to play with. There is the head tracker mode, where the chair is based on your head movement (for first-person shooters or movies or other 360 ° experiences) and there is the mode where the chair should move by itself, like the car, Helicopter, mech, spaceship, etc.

And there is the catch: the chair doesn't do that easily by itself. There are again different options: The NATIVE MODE, which you only have if the game has been programmed directly on the Roto (with the DEV kit) and for games that do not directly support the Roto natively, you have the option of to TRY via a RotoVR suite to get your HOTAS or joystick or rudder pedals in sync with the chair for a particular game. However, this is a bit of a hassle because it is a bit more complicated. If you don't find the right settings, you'll turn out of your seat in the game and be out of sync. It's very frustrating.

There is only one official game on the market (probably also due to corona) that supports the Roto native: And that is "VOX". This game is the best game which, including vibrations, best demonstrates the potential of the RotoVR.

RotoVR has its own racing game as a native demo - that's also very funny.

And that's why: I would like to have this game here with native RotoVR support.

In any case, I understood that you can contact RotoVR as a developer to get a DEV kit for Roto programming for a native mode.

I know that YawVR supports games by adding plug-ins so that game developers do not need to make any changes to their games.
