Has Development Stopped?

I never buy an early access game, but I follow ones I'm interested in. Just in case it actually gets made.
There hasn't been a game update since August 2023, but the forum is active here. Was this just a good idea that got abandoned after cashing in?

No, the development hasn't stopped. I shifted my focus from content update to creating new graphical assets for the full release version. You can check the last 5-6 announcements since August 2023.

When I complete the new graphics I will implement them to the game and the game will leave early access. This is the plan.

its a solid game right now and the devs pretty active here and on the discord so i don't see it being abandoned but you do you man.

I think he added achievements like a week or so ago, so yes.

Unless my game just didn't want to give me any of them for the first month for some reason.

The development hasn't stop. I had a 2 weeks break and will have to work on a contract job part time in the next half year, but I won't stop developing this game. I created many new graphical assets not implemented in the early access. These new assets will go to the full release version. So the next update will be the full release hopefully end of this year. Finger cross.

I may be slow but persistent. This game is my love project, won't abandon it.

I bought this game early access & can't wait to play the finished product!

Still waiting to buy. I refuse to purchase early access games - far too often I've gotten burned with half finished games that get abandoned.

Was this really necessary? Like alright cool bud you don't buy early access games, no need to go announcing it on a solo dev's game like it is going to make a difference.

The game even in early access is a full game you can drop a lot of time into. Go take your snotty presence over to the full release games/big name brands and leave indie devs alone.

Game is perfectly fun, playable and mostly complete already in the current state, far from half-finished.

A note for the devs - while the discord might be active, some people are just looking in at steam, which shows long periods of no updates. So while it might be under active development, posting in steam would probably help

I see regular updates and, as a developer myself with a full time job in the way, I think the pace of his posts are impressive. I find hard to think the game will ever be abandoned on dev will, so I would be chill with it.
The "no early access buy" politic is totally legit for many reasons, so cool with it too.
Keep an eye on the game and time will tell.
I already completed the game, but I'm planning on do another round once this graphic overhaul is settled. It will be refreshing. ^^

You know what would be really nice for a change? Writing a simple statement, which was not malicious at all, without being talked down. There is nothing wrong, with not buying ea titles, and makeing a simple statement on the game's forum about it. Is there a need for it? No. Is there a need for you, writing back the way you did? Absolutely not.
