Iveri: The 1.000 Story is a lewd visual novel about a women who volunteers herself as a demon's slave, so that her village will be spared from the demons' wrath.

You smash through text boxes and make decisions every so often (as per most visual novels.) Before getting to the real meat of the game, you get to customize the protagonist. Your choice of eye and hair color will change one line in the story.

Iveri is but a simple villager. Two centuries ago, the village chieftain made a deal with a demon; in exchange for a female slave, his village would no longer be attacked by demons. He expects a new slave every two decades, and Iveri has volunteered herself. If I say anymore, I'll spoil the last two minutes of the game.

The titlescreen is visually boring, but fleshed-out with choices. From "Options", you can adjust resolution, sound and visual preferences. "Help" is a guide to the game's (non-configurable) controls. It all looks good, but it is also based on a template I've seen in many, many other visual novels. It's all cookie cutter. The in-game visuals are photographs, and they feel very "stock". There are no images of the characters, and little effort is made to describe them.

- The Goods -
There are two instances in the story will sexual content takes place, but don't expect anything saucier than the words "they make love". Expect basic male on female intercourse.

Yes, this game is very cheap (or 1 USD). No, it's not worth it. There are visual novels that are leaps and bounds better for free. Heck, just look up the word "fanfiction" and you'll get more quality content. If you pay me a dollar, I'll write you a paragraph of demon-on-girl action. Don't worry, you can pick a hair and eye color too! I'll even throw in your choice of skin color free of charge!

Take your dollar, and take it somewhere else.
