Which is stupid. If there are 10 masks and you have to pay 10 gems for every 5 shots, only to get 15 gems as a reward for hitting all 10 masks then why would I pay to play the mini game? Obviously you'd play it for a chance at the Heart Squid but how would I know what I needed to do specifically in the mini game to do it? Not to mention what it is you actually need to do is not the easiest to pull off if you're not great at timing things.
Not one of the best ideas in game design.
The confusing part imo is that when the masks slide, it's not too clear that it's just one row that loops. I thought for a while that restarting or taking too long makes mask vanish, and that the minigame was about speed. It's just accuracy all the way.
the less shots you take the more bonus you get when you clear it, if you miss no shots you get 100 gems payout on top of the point value of the masks.
My advice, try and break the small masks first, so when you are down to the last few masks you have to hit for a perfect game you'd have the much easier to hit large masks.
