Nexopad Accuracy?

I found it through the devs posting about it, so I'm assuming it's pretty accurate. But I've spent a good few ~hours~ trying to find Velokitti and nothing. It didn't take me this long to get other Specials. Frilia, Blizo, Vulazy, Tempestra; missed the first evo... even saw Bevy but I chose him to start

Is it entirely bad luck? Is there a way to increase the odds at all?

Apparition rate is based on the Nexomon's rarity. Velokitti is a starter so its hard to find. There are specific locations and the nexopad is usually accurate. If you have Facebook there is a group called "Nexomon Fanatics" they are usually very helpful.

Funnily enough velokitty was the starter who took me the most time to get too lol But yes you can find him as the nexopad says In the area after the cave and before the mountain village i wish i would have known this before i started grinding but Later you get a nexocharm that increase by a LOT the rarity of nexomon you encounter

Oh I didn't know that, thanks. Maybe I'll wait to get everything I'm missing. I just know that the first few areas change the nexomon and wasn't sure when that point of no return is and I'm heading into the desert atm and nearly the end of all the areas on the map. I assume it's after you visit the snow area sometime as some npcs have talked about it already. But idk

Seems we are at the same point , im also in the desert ahah if you havent found the item i mentioned yet I think its in one of the house upstairs in haunted city? but that might be the exp share, if its not there then its in one of ron's shops, cant remember which one tho, check for sparklings

thanks, it was in the beach town. Took 3m after finding that vs hours of nothing. Worst part is I found the 3rd evolution of it without even trying... lol
