Dear Frozen District, where did my game save file ,logs go?
Dear Frozen District, I love your game and have been playing since you first added the game to steam. My account in game was that long played … and now something has reset my progress, twice. According to Zendesk you state, I need to and I quote,
“It will open your House Flipper 2 folder. Look for the following files: player and player-Prev”
and that “If you don't see them in the folder, it means your game isn’t up to date. Please update the game through Steam and look again for the files.”
However, my game is (according to Steam) completely up to date and yet I can’t find these folders. There is nothing but my cloud saves which don’t work. I have a bone to pick with steam because the cloud saved nothing. If this happened once, then that would be sucky, but this has happened twice in the past 3 days. So, I’m a little salty and sorry if this comes across as be being mad. I’m not mad at your team, I’m mad at myself mostly for having never backed up my progress. The weirdest part of all this is that it saved my sandbox mode files but not the sandbox builds in them.
After reading the following articles on Zendesk I have determined that the save is not only not there, but neither is my profile information or logs. "Where are my saved games, system information, and logs?, How to restore my lost progress? ,Save problem/Lost progress."

As much as i would love my progress back, I don't expect it to be recoverable so in the end simply stopping this from repeating would be wonderful enough.

This may not help you in any way other than thinking about changes you may have made to your PC. I am a player from day 1 as yourself, and I never had an issue with losing profile or games. Last week, I opened up Steam and all the games I play regularly said to install again. I could not open them as I've done for years.

What I forgot that I did was ... I moved the installed game files from Drive C (default drive) to another drive (D) for space purposes. The D drive locks when I reboot PC. I need to unlock it to access. I forgot completely and thought all my games and files were gone. Of course, I remembered after minutes and unlocked it, all is well.

Did you change anything, move anything, like files or folders and especially changes with drives?
