Floating panel
I was setting up my porch today when I noticed that I had two overlapping panels on the same side of a tile, because it had this weird flickering effect between two different types of wood. So I demolished that one tile and now the panel is floating on one side and I can't get rid of it. I've tried building tiles around it and demolishing it again, but nothing works. I also tried to save, exit the game and re-enter again, which also didn't work. :steamsad:

EDIT: That exact bugged tile would take on the same surface finish that I would use anywhere else in the house for some reason, in addition to the one that was actually used on the tile. So there were two panels on the same side of the tile, one panel that would get removed when the tile got demolished as normal, and one that would stay despite there being no tile there. The latter is the floating panel that would change to whichever surface finish was being used elsewhere in the house, and it couldn't be interacted with in any way.

Here's what it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/23FxBP8

Try demolishing the two bricks below the empty space. Rebuild bricks from the DIRT level (just under the porch bottom), including the entire area that is now empty. Or, use a different wood tile on that area, then go back to the correct tile. I hate the flickering issue myself, but I've always been able to remove one of the tiles occupying the same space. Is the front panel maybe a piece of molding and you can sell it? This one stumps me.:bessie_sad:

You say you can't demolish the panel but surely you need to sell it?
Also it helps to post a screenshot directly into a discussion post rather than using an external site, this guide was posted in Planet Zoo but you can still see it even if you don't own the game

Hope it helps

Cosmetic visual bugs feels so frustrating in a game like this, haha. Demolishing the other two tiles as well as the one with the bugged panel seems to have fixed it for me. Appreciate the help, thank you! :happyfroggy:

I've had that happen several times. I've tried several things, and finally found something that has been working...I just painted over the offending area, then redid it with what I wanted in the first place. Seems to be working now. Hope it works for you, too. :D
