Exterior corner of 'picture windows' won't allow resurfacing

The exterior, right-hand rounded corner of the quarter round picture windows won't allow me to resurface it. I have tested with panels, paint, and wallpaper - none work.

The interior rounded corner and the left-hand quarter round picture windows all work fine.

I haven't tested the casement quarter round windows, but will update if I run into the same issue.

Yes, I am having this problem right now. I had it earlier and I somehow got around it, but I don't remember how.

I've tried replacing the window, cloning a similar window elsewhere, and bricking up the space and then buying the same window again. Nothing has worked.

It does seem to be the case that it's always the exterior, and I believe both of my experiences with the bug put it on the right corner. Right now I'm working with a 4x6 McKinley. Perhaps other brands would be less buggy? I'll see what I can discover.

EDIT: I just fixed my problem. I had been using a window — McKinley is the only brand with the curved windows — with the bars in them. So I tried one without the bars. I was able to apply the resurfacing, and then I copied + pasted the style from another window and the bars returned. Hooray!

I"m having a similar issue but it's with stairs. there's some little triangles that won't paint on one side. they paint on the other side. it's infuriating
