Can't Clean Windows

When I enter window cleaning mode I can move the tool around but when I click to clean nothing happens. The dirt stays on the window. It makes it impossible to get good ratings on the job if the windows remain dirty. Please help

I don't think people playing the demo and continuing is the problem, I didn't play the demo, didn't even know there was one so I started a new game, tried to clean windows and it went as OP described.

I closed the game to take a break and came back later and when I tried cleaning the windows the dirt did stay gone but when I got all the dirt off the window it never forced me out because I was finished cleaning it, all I could do was backout of cleaning the window which resets it so it was dirty again, then after a while of playing it went back to the window cleaning tool doing nothing as OP describes.

I received a couple of files that helped me verify the problem - unfortunately, the people who are experiencing this bug have graphics cards below the minimum requirements and do not support all shaders which is why it occurs.

You can try setting the graphics to the "Steam Deck" quality and using this tutorial

I can't clean the windows either. It did not work on the demo, nor on the full release.

The shader tip worked for me and now the dirt does disappear from the window, but the window still never registers as cleaned. When cancelling the action, it's back to dirty again.

Edit: I think it depends on a window, because now the dirt again isn't going away in some windows.

Same here. No possible to clean any window in the first mission. And there is a shampoo bottle lying on the bath floor that It is not possible to pick it up, so must be a bug. Please help.

Lorsque j'entre en mode nettoyage de fenêtre, je peux déplacer l'outil, mais lorsque je clique pour nettoyer, rien ne se passe. La saleté reste sur la fenêtre. Il est impossible d'obtenir de bonnes notes au travail si les fenêtres restent sales. S'il vous plaît, aidez

I tired doing what you and now i can see the widow getting clean but it wont fully be clean

I ran it in Steam Deck mode and edited the boot.config file to show "gfx-enable-gfx-jobs=0" but even after all of that I still cannot clean windows in the first mission at least. I even deleted my profile/save yet again to start a new save but it still does not work.

Tried that, didn't work. It'll wipe dirt off the windows but it never finishes so I have to backout and it resets the window so it's dirty again.
