Grass in sandbox mode?
I have been playing around making houses/jobs in sandbox mode, and since I HATE the untidy flowery grass that comes on every property (without mowing ability) I was delighted to discover the editing option for tidy grass. I spent quite some time making all of the grass on the property tidy, and I was happy with the result. When I play-tested my job it looked great. But after I uploaded it to mod.io I decided to subscribe from there and play again just to confirm that it was 100% working....and to my dismay, I discovered it had the stupid untidy grass again. My original definitely does not. Is this normal for mod.io uploads??

The last build I uploaded was completely paved but when I checked the live upload it had a fringe of long grass around all the edges, in my case I just turned everything to dirt but it did fix the problem. So maybe setting the grass back to tidy and use the 'export as mod' option (this will generate a zip file you can copy and paste into mod.io) might fix it. To change all the grass quickly press F11 to call up the command console, type in setfoliagetidy. press enter then F11 again to exit, much faster than using the edit tool lol

Thank you for that shortcut! My new property is much larger and running all around tidying the grass was very annoying haha. Hopefully the introduction of the lawnmower will fix grass issues, but for now I will try that!

a: set-foliage-tidy for a higher cut
b: set-foliage-cut for a "razor" cut

Exit the console and you're good to go.
Tidying the grass wasn't my problem, but thank you. My issue is that the grass IS tidy on my houses in sandbox mode, but when I upload the jobs to mod-io it reverses it to a messy grass state even though my original stays tidy. But at least when lawnmowers come out I can just make mowing the lawn a job as well haha
