Window Shutters

I'd love window shutters, especially for kitchen windows instead of blinds.

I managed to do it without a problem. Take the window in your hand, rotate it so that the windowsill is on the outside. Then edit the window to remove the windowsill/add shutters.

It puts the shutters on the inside, which is what the OP was asking for. It is still possible to close the window - simply stick your head out of it and mouse over the handle. It opens without any problem at all. You will need to go outside to clean it, but you can just do that before you rotate the window.

As for thieves, what can a humble house (and window) flipper do? Sell the property off and make it the buyer's problem. ;-) Besides, if I can rotate the window in about a second, so can the buyer.

a nice addition would be some hanging window shutters you can put up on the inside similar to the shades they have added.

that way, you could get super crazy and have shutters both in and outside and not have to worry about thieves.

Of course! Even if the devs implement simple slatted blinds (we had them in HF1) the silly temporary workaround with window rotation would not be necessary anymore.
