Custom wallpapers/panels feature

Hi and first of all thanks to the devs for their awesome work on hf1 and hf2 so far.
As a dev myself i can appreciate the work in rebuilding a lot of the mechanics from ground up just for better placement and building possibilities. Thanks for that ;)

I played a lot hf1 and loved to go for environmental designs (jungle or desert for example) and loved that i could use those realistic, full-wall jungle leaf wallpaper/panels to span at single walls.
In hf2 i played a couple of hours and so far found the feature to import custom pictures by placing files into my documents/hf2/picture folder. My question is, if it is possible to use those pictures as wallpapers/panel designs. That would allow me to go for those full wall spaning environment designs again. It would be a nice feature to allow for imported pictures as wallpapers and to be able to customize them in their "chunk"-size (how many horizontal/vertial tiles need to be placed to repeat the picture again).
I can understand that new (and by extend custom) wallpaper/panel designs are on low priority for the devs but i think a lot of people would also appreciate such a feature.
