They announced a DLC for MAY.
It was part of the big December update post and live stream.

Or you can just go to the store area and the Free DLC will be listed there with the May 2025 date.
Well the 2 key points right now is Free and it's a DLC............... so it'll be more than just what a typical update would have of 1 maybe 2 jobs.
So with that in mind, there's likely going to be some type of update between now and the DLC release, so rather than assuming anything about whether it's only co-op or not, I think it's better to wait until they give further inside info/pics on the DLC.
Not assuming anything right now, but it's possible that the co-op is merely used as a secondary theme and has solo player first in mind and co-op as optional or maybe just 1/3 of the jobs will be for co-op. There's plenty of options to go with this DLC and little detail on it to date.
Also as a side note, they have been working for a little while now on trying to allow for the other type of mods for the mod.io site. Maybe they will give us some positive news on this as well in the coming months.
Going back to steam workshop is a no go and they have said that much before this game was released. They want to ensure that all players can access mods. Which is fair enough since they have paid the same price as everyone else.
but there is only about co-op. it's nice, but nothing more than co-op informations...
The DLC (due for release in May) can be completed solo, might just take a little but longer.
There is also a whole heap of custom jobs on mod.io as well
Agree with you. would love more game content than always Co op. I don't like that it's getting all the updates etc, and the game is getting a few bits and pieces, most things are co op, this was purchased as a game and I am getting very disappointed in it
HF2 has less jobs in the base game than HF1 does though! HF1 has 26 jobs without DLC, while HF2 has only 24. Also by this point in development for HF1, there would have been DLC jobs from 2 DLC: Apocalypse and Garden Flipper, which added in 22 total jobs combined (23 including the free demo mission from GF)! Not to mention the fact that HF went from an indoor-only game to an outdoor one too with Garden Flipper content. Every update added something new to the game, which is something I can't say about HF2.
Like it or not, HF2 has far, far less content. It's what makes HF2 seem so cheap by comparison, because the developers aren't willing to add much and instead require everyone to download/create new custom jobs. I'd rather have content curated by the developers than be forced to play a FNAF rip-off mission some rando made. Also it alienates people with bad internet.
