Update?
Came here to figure out what the update was, ended up blocking ~6 people for whining and crying about pronouns in the interior decorating game, did not figure out what the update was.

Any ideas or did I gaslight myself with seeing the 3gb update in my downloads?

Heyo! If you really miss it, we might start using the announcements for the minor maintenance updates. For now, we felt like the big + medium content updates are the only ones that definitely deserve a spot in the annos. We don't wanna spam too much, in the end we always have an updated changelog section inside the game.

Let me know whatcha think! :bessie_happy:

You're not alone, had a 2GB update here. Curious what it includes or fixes.
Dunno what it all means, but here you go:

After updates there is a changelog in-game :bessie_happy:

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Maybe not a full announcement, but a pinned post in discussions that updates with small bug fixes. It would be a nice way of letting players know that small bugs they reported were fixed. Makes them feel like they helped you guys out, if only a little bit.

I agree, please use the Steam patch notes. They're there for a reason.

When the Steam Patch Notes are used, they show up in the Downloads queue to see quickly before or during a download. I find it a good indicator that it's actually game content that's being updated instead of, say, workshop content or steam cloud syncing.

And hey, if the patch notes list a minor bug that I had been experiencing, that might motivate me to jump into the game to see it for myself.

Yet for the people who have stopped playing for what ever reason will have no way of knowing any Patch Notes if they HAVE to log into the Game to see.

It's a no brainer to have your Patch Notes out in the open for the entire Community to see. Not only that, but when I purchase Games, I go straight to those Patch Notes to see if the Game is still actively being worked on.

In all honesty, you are most likely missing out on Sales, or playercount due to this.

My opinion anywho.
