Suggestion: expand paint and wallpaper palletes.
Just my opinion: the wallpaper is so "busy." There's nothing really refined or subdued. I'd like wallpaper options that aren't so "in your face."

The paint selections are really limited. Even the "faded" colors are way too colorful, in my opinion. You either get white or some kind of ultra-noticeable color, even if it says "faded." It sure would be nice to have an option to customize colors and the ability to just get a hint of color instead of "Wow, that 'faded yellow' sure is yellow." Rant over.

Absolutely agree with that. Wallpapers are not for the real house you'll want to live in, too bright and patterns are too large. Maybe only the stripes are pretty. Palette is also very strange. New creative paint can is very good, but sadly still not available in the Sandbox edit mode.

This is what I've been thinking as well, when I browse the wallpaper to see if I'd like to use one of them. I usually don't, or as you said go with some stripes in "muted" colours, because the rest just have too much pattern on them. HF1's stuff was even worse, I can count on one hand the wallpapers I actually like enough to use.

I can't describe how much I wanted, back in the day, to create my own wallpapers for HF1, and was so happy when workshop was introduced. Didn't really go as planned, because we couldn't create functional, proper wallpapers/paneling. I feel the same now with HF2, and hope that THIS time, we will be able to make something functional, and not just some deco panels to plop up on the walls (in umpteen different lenghts too, because they have to fit over/under windows/doors etc). I have literally hundreds of patterns/textures/whathaveyou that I'm burning to use.
