Any chance of getting the wall colors from 1 put into 2?
Those wall colors were so much better in number 1 than the incredibly bright colors in number 2. Not to mention... give us access to making items for gods sakes.

It would be great if DEVs can atleast give us access to import our own custom walls and floors-- just like we can import custom pictures. It shouldn't be a hard work.

I don't get why they won't just give us an RGB editor tbh.

The colour wheel for paint (RGB editor) is coming in the update tomorrow. As for making items I have no idea how difficult that is going to be because, unlike HF1, you have to incorporate the ability to change textures and colours. I for one do NOT want custom made items that only come with one colour option!

Honestly HF1 and HF2 furniture styles are very different comparing each other from graphical aspect. I'm not much hopeful for workshop or custom made items yet. Just the ability to change colors and textures of in-game furniture is enough for me. Not all community uploads are going to be of same quality that matches with the game's style. But a custom wallpaper or pattern import option would be great though. I want to see my own designed patterns in my houses as curtain, rug, sofa or bedsheet etc.

One of the problems with making custom patterns to use in-game is to get them to 'tile' correctly, I made custom wallpaper for the 'Sims' and getting the pattern to tile seamlessly across a full wall was tricky. No doubt there are many people out there that would be able to do this but, then again, you come to the issue of incorporating the ability to change the colours of the pattern so it won't be as easy as importing a single picture :bessie_sad:

I also make custom wallpaper in the Sims 4. I use Filter Forge or Illustrator to create properly tiled textures and then I bring them in Sims 4 studio which helps a lot. If some day this game brings a custom pattern importer -- I'll do the same. The Halloween pumpkin images I used in my HF2 sitting room which I posted here-- they were 3d models made by me in blender. Thought to bring them in my game.. 😅
Hey, I just noticed -- we both play many of the same games. HF1, HF2, Sims, Planet Zoo-- Wow!! I actually downloaded a bunch of PZ workshop items made by you. They are awesome 👍

Because HF1 uses a LOT of pre-made Unity Store assets.

Don't understand the ability of modders to do things. I've seen gamers add modding to games that weren't supposed to have any. Even games from the 90s. I'm surprised no one has tried with this one. Modding games is a time honored tradition that has existed since the beginning of computers. There's no reason it wouldn't be possible in this game.
