New Buyers

I am..unsure how the new buyers work. I tried to make a house, specifically to sell it to one buyer, but they don't come up, at all. I'm wondering if there's a way to get a specific person we're trying to sell to yet? Or ways to see that they're going to come up (like in HF1 when they would comment on the things we did)?

Good question, I have been wondering the same. I guess the new Buyers update is still too new for people to figure it out yet, because there are no guides on it yet either. Would be curious to learn more about them! I will start a new game and see if doing the missions unlocks profiles maybe. If I learn anything new I will get back to you.

same, i am at complete loss. they did a hotfix saying that they "added the buyers" or something and there's one

i tried buying and selling another house but i didn't get a new buyer unlocked. maybe the mechanic isn't finished yet??

I've managed to unlock 5 buyers including Mr Bylowe (the dude that buys trash properties) but there are so many more and no clues as to what they want.

Just renovate and sell a house in story mode, it's a good idea to max the perks for the number of buyers you can have bidding on a house (max 3) and the amount they pay - the more houses you sell the more perks you get and the more buyers you will unlock

struggling to get this girlie. i've tried doing a couple of them unfurnished (just beds, kitchen stuff, and bathrooms so Mr Boyle doesn't pop up) but i can't seem to sell any that interest her

I unlocked her like this:

I bought the little and cheap blue house in the suburbs. First, i got rid of all the trash everywhere and cleaned the place. Then, i build on the left side a little (empty) garage. But i dont know and think that this step is needed. After selling every item in the house i got rid of every wall. A total empty little house. Lastly, and again i dont know and think this step is needed, i painted the walls and floor. Started the auction, and Miss Price showed up as the only one interested (although i already unlocked the multiple buyers perk) to buy this clean and empty house.

Hope this helps you to unlock her too.

This what's frustrating. I have all perks unlocked, I've bought and sold all houses in the game. I just spent a couple days designing a house for One of the two buyers I've unlocked (Abby Poe) and when I went to sell it she wasn't one of the three who bid on it. And none of those three buyers show up as "unlocked" now. I don't get it. :/

This was my exact issue. Same buyer, too. I specifically tried to make a house for her, and literally 6 separate times putting it on auction and she still hasn't shown up, I just gave it to a random.
