New Buyers
I am..unsure how the new buyers work. I tried to make a house, specifically to sell it to one buyer, but they don't come up, at all. I'm wondering if there's a way to get a specific person we're trying to sell to yet? Or ways to see that they're going to come up (like in HF1 when they would comment on the things we did)?

I suggest canceling an auction if you do not get the buyer you are looking for. Rather than re-buying and doing all the clean up/work again, you can just make a few tweeks and try the auction again. The cost is not that much.

then you are doing something wrong. have you added 2 garage doors to the setup? it works for all the other people who tried it and still wark for me. in the desolated villa you need to clean all, also on the roof! if you use the Charming Hideaway, it's more easy. also buy her a skadi sofa. i think Devs are adjusting things based on our advancement... XD
I did all that. Twice actually since I thought first time I must have missed something. Nope 😮‍💨 That's a good idea with charming hideaway though - I'll try that next! Hopefully they're not patching ahead of me! 🤣

I've now got all buyers except Bella - I tried all the methods in here and she is just not popping for me, so annoying! Going to try a few more things and see if I can get her. Some of them I don't remember everything for how I got them, but if you need any tips for specifics lmk! Generally:
- Mr. Bylowe is easy to get, just don't clean all the way. You'll sell at a deficit if you leave it TOO dirty, but if it's too clean sometimes he'll peace out and you'll get Kerry instead. Having no appliances/beds will up your chances of getting him.
- Kerry Price is also super easy, just clean completely and have a relatively empty house and she should pop up.
^^^^ The above two are usually the only buyer you'll get if they do appear, so you can't miss them.

- Abby Poe is the easiest for me, I guess because she's my doppelganger lol. She likes what I like and my name is also Abby. Lots of books, fun colors, cozy furniture, cute decor, plants indoors but not too much plant life outside (a little is OK). Bohemian Apartment or a lot of the smaller ones in the suburbs will work.
- Melody Banjeree I did Blue Bungalow and pretty much exclusively all the Extravaganza furniture. I also did plain paint on all walls in funky colors (I think I did like, orange and cerulean, the stars/planet wallpaper in the bedroom with a purple color). I changed up the patterns so it was all mismatched and zany. Also demolished the laundry room and embiggened the kitchen a bit.
- Kyle Cheong, y'all have said it. Trevor's mansion and add consoles, controllers, the little PSP, VR headset, headphones, etc. in basically every room. I replaced some of the existing furniture with Futuro instead (armchairs, etc) but mostly left the place as-is, aside from fully cleaning obv.
- Henry Spring, can't quite remember what house I used, I think it was Lavender? Add plants inside and outside. More. No, MORE. You think that's too many? MOAR!! Especially outside, don't neglect that. Trees, flowers, shrubs, the works.
- Louis Williams I got with Sunny Bungalow (the family house). I don't recall actually changing the place up too much from the furniture that's already there, just clean up and stage it nice, replace broken stuff, declutter a bit.
- Ramona I'm having trouble remembering... I want to say I also got her from Peacey's? Put beds in every room, neutral colors, stick with Skadi or Homefort.
- Gary Hood was so dumb lol. I got him from the Hostel in the woods (the A-Frame). I had cleaned it mostly out, all dirt and trash, left some furniture but not much. I can't remember specifics but I decided I didn't want to continue with it so I put it up for auction and there he was lol.
- Layla: Mentioned above. Home gym is critical I think!

Hmmm... they were larger windows (Etna I think) and I didn't use mutin bars on most of them, I also used a couple of the curved Valenti windows on the side of the house with the diagonal crisscross bars, but they were basically placed in the same spots as the original house, only bigger than they were pre-flip. Nothing too crazy!
We FINALLY managed to unlock her!!! All thanks to you!!! Never in a million years did I think that ''forest view'' means Peacey Home with just a couple of trees outside!!! Mostly SKADI as you said! I've uploaded a youtube video to make it easier for whoever needs help. Thank you so much @cascade & @pandorabox :8bitheart:

We finally have all buyers now but yes Bella wasn't easy - we used the Charity Mansion house but I distinctly remember REMOVING most of the accessories and she then got unlocked for us! So make sure you don't have a lot of clutter all over the place - I actually filled a room with makeup etc but it was a wrong move it seems. Don't forget to put the most expensive tub (not bath).

That's so funny, I just saw this video last night and was going to give that a try! I was already working on the Charity Mansion after Desolate Villa wasn't cutting it but I was being a slacker about matching the vid lol. Congrats on getting 'em all!

glad i could help! :D <3
Guys so you didn't read my posts? you doesn't need to put things inside each room, As long as the item are inside the house, you can get them all in one room. you actually need just 1 door, no windows at all. the game doesn't care abour colors , wallpaper and so on... well. i will gladly see what you have done in the video, i'm curious. but for the buyers you need way less things you think. aside from Bella, Layla and Kyle, most of them need just 10 items.

BTW in the video i see her sit in the sofa. wtf? how is that possible? it's a mod? or just a friend sitting there? cool anyway XD

Hahaha yes that's me in coop with my husband recording :P yes about items you are right - the game is programmed to just make sure it has all the variables it needs to tick the buyer box on hehe but we enjoy designing the house just for kicks to be honest. Sometimes when the buyer wont unlock, we just spam items we think might be required, all in one room, until it unlocks :P

P.s: with layla, we had a whole bunch of gym items in 3 different houses and it still wasnt enough - i added some cutlery and plates and a bunch of healthy food in fridge etc to kitchen and she unlocked in peacey home...we then did the same in the triangular wooden house and she still didnt pop up as buyer so im still confused about that but not going to bother anymore since we got her anyway

Nah i don't get it. i need to have a specific combination of furniture and secondary items to understand how to get to Layla XD All the other Buyers has "specific" combination of basic items and random items. to get what Layla ask to be summoned, you have to be like a scentist! get to the point when she appear and ask you to sell her the house...then start to REMOVE all the secondary items and check...until you remain with the basic 10-15 items she NEED to be summoned. Do that for us, as i did for you and for the other buyers XD

Remember....paints, wallpaints, colors...DOES NOT matter. just the furniture and the secondary objects. even doors, lights and windows doesn't matter. The formula it's complete only as long as you car replicate her XD

So to crack the code you must replicate the house and then when she pop up, start to "sell" the items you think you dont nees. i did that to find that most of them just need a bunch of "basic" items XD
btw i LOVE how this game offer you the chance to create your home and decorate freely with no boundaries. i, in fact, created a duplicate of my real haouse and the proportions are almost perfects XD So i love it...but i NEED to crack the code and undertand how to "mathematically" obtain the 11 special buyers before i can enjoy the game freely XD That's why i'm doing this research [also becouse it's fun to crack the Dev's mind....maybe one day thay will contact me to curse my posts or to recruit me to debug/help XD ]

As an IRL programmer I totally get this mindset. It's fun to figure out the logic behind it. 😁
I still can't see what I'm doing wrong with the villa to get Bella so I just decided to have fun and make a nice house for some gold but I'll try again later. Do you happen to have a full list of the items you used? I think I must have chosen the wrong 10 skadi? (I did make sure to get the most expensive bed, couch, and tub.)
