"old clay bricks" no longer in story mode?

I was working on a house that used the "old clay bricks" surface finish on the walls and now I can't find them in the store after the most recent update. It's really annoying, because now I cant finish the house without completely changing the style since all of the other brick options don't match what I'm going for.

I did confirm that the finish was still in the game by going into sandbox mode and using the surface finish tool. But when I search in the store, even in sandbox mode, it doesn't show up.

I am assuming that because it is intended to be a damaged version of the clay bricks, you can't build with it. It is meant to be something you fix when you see it in a type of way.

can you not copy style with flipper tool?

Any damaged/old finishes have been moved to Sandbox mode.

That explains why I can't find the weathered wood, It was one of my favorites to use for barns. Why would you do that?

I've noticed that the devs sometimes make decisions that they don't really think through in terms of what the players would like. Imo it's a shame that not all finishes are available in story mode, as well as the move tool or something similar, so we can finally flip items upside down (the triangle wall piece being one of the most important).
