Great update from Frozen District!

This update is actually better than I thought it would be, new furniture, decorations and mechanics all FOR FREE (take note Hotel Renovator) so many of the Sandbox items are now in Story Mode and resizeable just like in Sandbox including glass walls and ceilings.
I'm so happy we can now light fires and hang curtains, I thought they had messed up when I hung some curtains then found I couldn't interact with them to open and close but, it's a preset option the same as doors being left or right (I can live with that)

Only one criticism of this amazing update so far:

It took me ages to find the new carpet textures in Surface Finishes. I think they should have their own separate tab, just like panels and wallpaper do, rather then be hidden in "Other".

The sleeping mechanic works like a dream, and the new spotlights are spot-on! Puns intended. :)

The update is certainly a big step forward but I have one minor gripe. When placing coving around a room an inside corner works fine but an outside corner doesn't join up.

With all the wonderful improvements, I still have an issue: curtains (which should have been in the finished game to begin with) feel like an afterthought - can't open or close them, and there are no curtains for SHORT windows, unless I'm missing some way to shorten them before buying. They've been doing a ton with updates and additions, which is great, but this is a pet peeve of mine.

Reinstalled, played for 5 minutes, uninstalled again....Going to wait till it gets more patching...BTW the window coverings are a joke, they don't fit most windows and they look like a burlap bag over the window....Going back to HF1

Yeah, the quality of the curtains and blinds are far below the standards we had in the first one. You'd think they would try to make the second one better than the first.
