Lack of stuff

HF1 has more paint and flooring options...I bought a house in HS2 and whated to carpet the whole floor but there isn't carpet flooring (just carpet patches) and I wanted to paint a bedroom in Sleepy Blue but I didn't see a Sleepy Blue

I know the feeling. I know HP1 started out with little content but grew as the Devs added more content over time. Be patient....more is coming with future updates. And the Devs are really good about listening to us the playerss.

There does seem to be an option to stretch those carpets BUT i haven't yet figured it out, perhaps the devs could give us a clue.

You can only do that in sandbox edit mode.

Definataly a lack of stuff.
No Curtains for windows
Quality of rugs.. blah
Painting drives me crazy
I can go on I just don't understand why the Dev's chose to change the mechanics of painting, tiles, wood , adding and removing walls so in. If it worked why change it to what we have to deal with in the 2 version.
My vote for this version is a thumbs down at this time. I hope to see the quality of the game more like the first one. I enjoyed the first greatly this on...not so much.

I like the changes to the painting, removing, and adding of walls; you have a lot more freedom now than you used to. Sorry, but I like being able to panel the lower half of a wall and paint the top half. I like the ability to create entire new floors. I enjoy being able to quickly build a wall and just add a door without having to make the lintel, test the door, knock down the walls, make the new lintel, then repeat. I just expanded a house I brought with a few clicks! I can now destroy external walls!

Honestly, this game loads so much faster than the old one and has so much freedom; I'm okay with waiting a bit for curtains. It's not the end of the world.


I would like more paint options, but there are so many wallpaper/wood/tile options so I don't feel that limited. Besides, I got HF1 when it was first out and I remember the colors being rather lacking then too so I'm certain they're add more in.
