Painting the Top Part of the House.
When buying and painting a two-story, how do you paint the top end of the house?

Go to the Store, and in the first tab (the one with the hammer) go to the Building Accessories section. You will find two versions of scaffolding there. Or just type "scaffolding" in the search box.

My favourite part is that you can put paint or panels on the platform at the top and it will still be there when you pick up and move the scaffolding :)

Thank you so much!! 70+ hours in the game and I'm just now learning about the scaffolding. That's what I get for bypassing some prompts in the beginning, far too fast lol. I appreciate ya!

Thanks for your kind words! To be honest, I don't remember there being Any prompts about scaffolding. Since the game currently has no stepladders, (requested feature, coming soon) I assumed there was no scaffolding either. Of course, the disadvantage is that scaffolding is only usable outdoors, while stepladders should be small enough to put inside.

One thing you can do is to install stairs. I've done a couple of renovations where the scaffolding either wouldn't fit on the map, or would be too far away from the area I want to work on. So I just ran stairs along the side of the building to where I needed to go, and then sold them afterwards. Easy peasy!

Found that you can also stack up wooden pallets to make a sort of laddering when/if scaffolding don't quite get there. Sometimes fiddly, but pretty cheap and versatile.
