I built a house in sandbox mode. The only way i could decorate it....tiles paint cupboards...was in play test mode sooooo I spent 3 to 4 hours laying tile and painting, then I had stuff to do so guessed it would save it!!!! hours wasted!!!! so how do i decorate and save a house in sandbox mode? so iratated right now, when I came back it was gone all but the house i built!

You need to use „Edit Property“ mode. How do you mean „ The only way i could decorate it....tiles paint cupboards...was in play test mode“? That all works fine in Edit mode, which is the one you want if you want to actually build, not just playtest.

I will play with it more but it seems I couldnt get like the paint roller and the tile thing....our tools we have in story mode to come up. Thank you for your help.

Far as I can tell, sandbox has the exact same tools as story mode -- I can definitely paint in sandbox, also with tiles or whatever I want (that is all the same tool for me, the paint roller). Right-click is the default to get to the tools menu, I think.

I couldnt get the paint roller to work for me in sandbox mode. idk what im doing wrong

In sandbox mode you don't have a paint roller, but you have a surface finish tool. After selecting it, hit Q, and then select the finish you want. You can immediately apply it to any surface you want. It works faster than the paint roller.

Oh wait a minute I am trying in edit property mode maybe that is why....Oh but I built the house in edit property mode and when i go to sand box mode there is no house. so confusing to me :(
