always nice to read your comments .
take my steam points got more then plenty
I'm not sure why you feel the graphics are worse then in the first game - the level of detail is certainly higher. Are you sure the game didn't automatically default to Low settings? The lack of shadows on Low does make the graphics look a bit less realistic.
As for the gameplay, it's potentially more enjoyable. The Flipper tool's Edit Style perk allows to access the item's options After you buy it. It even allowed me to change a scratched door surface to an undamaged one the other day! And the Copy style perk not only allows you to copy things like fabrics and wood finishes from one item to another, but also quickly find the exact same wall or floor finish, such as paint, in store. All these were features the players of HF1 had asked for in the past!
Of course, there are more email quests than in the first game, and they introduce various game elements rather slowly. You need to do about half of them before you are tasked with painting more than a single wall, and about two-thirds before you get to build or demolish walls. So the first few quests could just as well be called "Cleaning Simulator Deluxe"... They do get more interesting though - such as the quest where you need to demolish a ceiling, or the one where you renovate a derelict community centre.
I'm mentioning all these features to you because they are unlikely to change in the future and might influence your decision.
I appreciate all your points and you may have swayed my decision on the game! I had no idea games could default to low graphics either...i may buy again because i reaallllyyy want to play house flipper anything :-D
The Houses section is like the Browser section in HF1. Houses are added to it as you complete quests, similar to how the HF1 map mode worked. The houses can be filtered by location - 3 areas, 3 separate tabs.
You only get access to the Houses section about half way through the Email quests. The trigger quest is "A Tiny House to Flip". The parental home, the one you wake up in, is not sellable. You only see buyers at auction, a maximum of 3 buyers, with no likes or dislikes.
And my favourite feature of all - any house can be re-purchased immediately after being sold. So no more waiting to flip everything once before being able to choose what to work on next!
Is this the new talking point you discord weirdos have been workshopping? It's not a great one.
See i'm liking the sound of all this! Are you the PR person by any chance...?! I think i'm going to re-buy it, and i'll re-check the graphics settings too! Thank you :-D
