If you can use the paint roller like on a wall, they are walls or building moldings, not objects like a chair or window (only those have damage textures).
I've been wondering the same thing -- what is the effect of using damage textures on objects? I've seen no way to clean or fix them in game, all I can do is replace them. Am I missing something?
Oh ok -- you mean there’s a „no damage“ setting / texture somewhere in that „damaged“ tab? I'll take a look again, probably didn't occur to me to check that. Thanks!
I've tried doing exactly that, and it still didn't work
The Edit Style menu has a Go to Store button in the bottom right, which takes you to that item's store page. This way, you at least wouldn't have to spend time looking for a replacement.
Also, using the Edit Style on a window gives you information on its size, as well as model name.
Use the "change style" option of the flipper tool, then select "go to store". Buy the same item and place it down somewhere. Then use the "copy style" option to copy the style of the original (damaged) item and paste it to the new one.
Although this method works, I wish that the devs would add a "repair" or "replace" option to the game.
Hope someone else finds this helpful!
That really helped, thank you! Hadn't noticed 'Go To Store' before.
