How do I find these things?

I started playing and I want to renovate the starter house, which includes replacing the beams in front of the house. But it looks like once you sell them, you can't buy a similar new one... I tried searching for beam, column, structure, support in the shop, and nothing comes up. Can you even replace or repaint them?..

You can change their style and duplicate them, but if you sell them you can't buy them back, they are not in the shop.

Before you spend a lot of time and money into the starter house, know that you can't sell it.

Once you unlock the ability to build walls, you can use that tool to rebuild the column. You can cover them with whatever surface covering to match the house or style you're going for. Continue the story until you get this skill and just keep working on other areas till then.
