Roofing in Sandbox Mode

I'm trying to place a sloped roof section. When I select sloped and the angle via the store interface and then select buy, it defaults back to a hip roof. I have to then cycle through the roof options with the tool shortcut R but it only gives the default angle. I'm having to use the transform tool to get a different angle, but if I move the roof section it defaults back to the standard angle.

What am I missing? Am I doing something wrong or is this another bugged function?

i guess its bugged, i cannot angle the roof either, if someone have solved the problem, pls help us

The store roof thing doesn’t work for me either. The roofing tool does, though (the one in the tool selection) -- you can't choose an angle with it, just the basic shape, but placing it and editing it afterwards works as expected.

I wonder why they even put another roof in the store … is that something one would need for Story mode? In Sandbox it has no real purpose as far as I've seen.

Thanks! Yes this is how I have had to do it. Place a section and then use the resize tool to adjust
